Glenn Beck said on radio that CONGRESS IS VOTING ON CAP AND TRADE AND CARD CHECK.

We have confirmed with Senator Martinez and Congressman Rooney’s office that Cap and Trade will be voted on in the HOUSE THIS FRIDAY. No confirmation on card check.

Health care show tonight is a RUSE…..without CAP AND TRADE which raises our taxes considerably; universal health care passage will be weakened because it is unaffordable.  I have read and heard that Healthcare will be funded by some or all of Cap and Trade taxes.

We are being played like a Stradivarius!!!  Our attentions diverted from Cap and Trade to the Health care debate.

We can concentrate on Health Care next week……..

WE NEED TO STOP CAP AND TRADE NOW!

Dear XXXXX:

I urge you to vote no on the Waxman-Markey Cap and Trade bill.  More accurately referred to as “Cap and Tax,” the Waxman-Markey climate legislation is an enormous energy tax that would deal a severe blow to our already shaky economy.

The positive effects of the bill are negligible, but on the other hand the effects it would have on our economy are devastating.

Independent estimates say that families could pay $3,000 more per year on energy and the entire plan would take $2 trillion from our economy in just over eight years.  Numbers like these come at a real cost, not just in terms of my wallet, but in terms of the many, many jobs this legislation gambles with.

I am asking that you oppose this bad piece of legislation. We need a “Common Sense” approach to the environment and this is not it. This is just another appeasement to the environmental lobby. Changing the name of the Bill to ACES does nothing to change another bill no one will read and the “Unintended Consequences” will be felt by the Taxpayer for years to come. STOP, Calm Down, Slow Down this country cannot afford this legislation unless your intentions are to destroy our economy, our lives and our constitution.

Again I urge you to vote NO on the Waxman-Markey climate bill. Please, please listen to “We The People” who are out here working or living on a retirement and trying to survive.

Thank You
